We all want to change something about our bodies, whether it’s our nose, weight, height or some other feature.
While many of those things we can actually change ourselves by a change of diet, exercise or by other means, others require a little extra help. For example there’s nothing you can do about losing your hair outside of getting a hair transplant. The same thing can be said for rhinoplasty —no matter what you do, you’re not going to be able to change the shape of your nose without the help of a doctor.
Are there ever times that an alternative to plastic surgery could be just as effective as the real deal?
Buttock Augmentation
Buttock augmentation involves removing fat from other parts of your body and injecting it into your buttocks. However, a possible alternative to buttock augmentation is regular and consistent exercises focused on your glutes.
Liposuction
Liposuction can be used to get rid of fat deposits in problem areas such as thighs, stomach or upper arms. After getting liposuction, you should notice a slimmer appearance in the target area.
Diet and exercise are typically the first alternative to liposuction you should try. However, lipo usually targets the exact problem spots that are difficult to smooth away with diet or exercise alone, like a double chin or love handles.
BOTOX®
The popular injection is commonly used to temporarily get rid of wrinkle lines as a way to try and combat the signs of aging. Taking preventative measures to limit the signs of aging on your face remains the most tried and true alternative to BOTOX. Always wear sunscreen and practice a good skincare regimen.
